It is very painful, and some of my hair dried into the area, and it was very painful to remove. It happened yesterday at baseball camp when I scratched my ear, and I really need to figure out something to do about it.
Some live, moist skin came off my ear yesterday. The area under it is wet and oozing and very painful. Help!
If it looks like a pimple that may be infected, it might be a staph infection, which can be serious if not treated. my son has had several in the last year. definitely go see your doctor

Sounds like it is a burn of some sort, check with a Dr. could be serious.
