The scars dont go away. Does anyone have this? And is there anyway at all to get rid of it? It's affecting my self esteem cos its mostly on my legs so i dont like to wear skirts much anymore. HELP please!!!
I had psoriasis its under control, but theres scar patches where the skin is darker. Does any1 else hav this?
i was treated in hospital for three weeks with dithronol ect, i was given salicylic acid 6% in aqueous cream to help remove the stained skin, ask about this it might help you good luck, well done on getting a result.

They fade a bit, but it's better to have them than the plaques! How did you get your psoriasis to heal up?
Reply:girl get to the doctor and ask my mother has been suffering all her life with that. it covers her whole body so there is noway for her to cover it up. they have special medicine to help with that
Reply:yes i have the dark patches, they will never go away but they do fluctuate in colour, one thing about them though is you never get the plaques on them.
Reply:I had severe guttate psoriasis a few years ago. At first a GP thought it was chickenpox! After receiving UVB treatment the psoriasis did improve but i was also left with scarring. Fortunately with time my skin did revert back to its normal pigmentation so hopefully the same will happen to you.
