TAKE YOUR CAT TO THE VET!

Colds, like upper respiratory infections, are caused by various viruses and claim many kittens each year. Some of these same viruses, or an organism known as Chlamydia, can also cause permanent damage to a kitten's eyes. If bacteria invade the infected eye the organisms can puncture the tough covering, resulting in blindness. Even a lesser infection can leave the eyeball badly scarred.

It sounds as though there is a foreign object in his eye! Cats have an inner eyelid which is probably the flap of skin you're seeing. He keeps it closed because it is painful, and puss indicates an infection. I know it's expensive, but please take him to the vet as soon as possible. It could prevent blindness in that eye.

Best of health to your kitty!!!
Reply:take it to a vet poor baby,i had gotten belles palsy in my right side thats how the cat might feel
Reply:This just could be a case of conjunctivitus. Eye closed shut with crusty stuff.

Firstly i would recommend going a vet.

Secondly get a bowl of lukewarm water and some cotton balls and gently (GENTLY like a feather) dab the warm soaked cotton around the eye. This might take 20 minutes once you have loosened the crusty stuff the cat might open its eye of its own accord. Dont open it yourself. If it opens and the cats winking at you it is a eye infection or conjunctivitus.

Go to the vet. If your eye was like it you go the doctors.
