What is the best product for smoothing skin on face for under $30?

I have tried a few things, olay microdermabrasion works well, but anything work better? What night lotions/firming lotions? I like a nice firm face too.

how about a product that is 2 in 1 (smoothing and firming) and decreases wrinkles too (if you are old enough to have them). But it is more than $30. check out the Artistry skin refinishing lotion at www.fulltimeparents.wwdb.biz You will get your money back if it doesn't work for you.

The polishing scrub on that website will also do a great job exfoliating your face. And it smells awesome!

Reply:Hi there,

These are some of the at home micro derma kits that can help your skin feel smoother for under $30:

Epidermx (around $23) is a gentle exfoliator good for sensitive skin, but leaves skin red and prone to irritation.

Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub (between $25 and 30) makes skin smoother and whiter, the kit lasts for a long time, but it is not very effective in reducing acne scars and wrinkles.

L鈥橭real ReFinish ($19-$25) has fast results, and gives skin a healthy, rosy glow.

The Neutrogena At Home Microdermabrasion System ($25-45) is also a very good product, but there are consumers who say that the results don鈥檛 last for very long and the creams may cause some stinging or irritation.

I myself have tried several at home microderma kits. Some worked better then others. Some had quick results, others had slower, but longer lasting effects. My opinion is that you shouldn't buy a product based on other people's experiences, because even if everybody else loves a certain product, it might not work for you, and by that I mean it might not be effective or might cause adverse reactions, like breakouts and irritations.

The best thing to do is try to obtain samples of the product you want to try (gifts in shops or free online samples), try it for a few days and see what happens. If you like the way it works, then you can invest your money in it.

Most people using at-home microdermabrasion kits like Neutrogena, L'Oreal, Dermanew or Youthfull Essence. They all have good money value and you can start your personal testing with them.

Hope this helps,

Joanna.
