I noticed a round lump under my skin in my inguinal area. What kind of doctor do I see to have this checked?

I have an appointment with a dermatologist tomorrow but i am wondering if i should call my regular doctor or gyno? Any ideas as to what it could be?

You should actually start with your regular doctor. If you need to see someone else, he'll be able to direct you. It could be an inguinal hernia, cyst, or something else, but your doctor will know what needs to be ruled out.

Depends on how close to the genitals it is. If it is very close to the genitals, you want to see your Gyno. If it is more on the pubic region (closer to the abdomen), a dermatologist would be fine. If you already have an appointment with a derm, go see them and they will tell you if you should see a gyno or gp.
