Is a cyst something that moves around under your skin?
Yes. but you can't always feel it
Is a cyst something that moves around under your skin?
i had a cyst on my ovary and it didn't...
Reply:Yes, it can also feel a little squishy. If it feels hard, then it is soildified. which means it can be harder to remove.
Reply:no it's a bubble that grows on ur internals...aka intestines, but for female...it is commonly on the ovary....it's usually filled with fluids but can be filled with blood...it has bacteria sumtimes....if it gets too big u usualli have it sergically removed ....sometimes it can pop and u would go to the hospital to get sum IV put in u and antibiotics....sometimes b4 it even pops or grows too big...it'll grow and then heal on its own.......why.do u have one?....

I had one on my ovary and it bursted and instead of fluid it was blood and it at first feels like regular cramps...but eventually lead to an unbelievable pain ....it was so painful i vommitted and that never happened b4...it's almost an unexplainable pain....i tried to lay down and it temporarily paralysed half of my body...(because the fluids spread)... i had to be hospitalized for 3 days and wasnt allowed to eat anything because thye didnt know waht it was....it was pretty scary...people have been known to pass out from the pain,....but i have a high pain tolerancy so i felt it all cold turkey...never felt anything liek it...and i've broken my arm...so much more painful then that =s
Reply:A cyst usually doesn't 'move around' although it appear to move relative to the outside of the skin (the epidermis). Cysts are usually in the dermis, that is the 'living' part of the skin underneath and protected by the epidermis. If it is bugging you, seems to grow, or hurts make sure that you see a doctor, preferably a dermatologist.
Reply:It can be called that but usually a cyst is still and doesn't move but has a head on it and can be seen outside the skin, usually raised above the skin. What you may have is a fatty tumor, they are under the skin, don't hurt and move around. They are usually nothing to worry about. I would see a Dr. to make sure it isn't anything serious though because it can be anything. Many people have fatty tumors and they can be almost anyplace. But, don't ignore it just in case.
