I have dark skin and bags under my eyes, how should i do my makeup for a special event?

i want something simple, that i can do myself but for it to look nice.


any special technics? tricks or anything i should know?

I'm the same. It really depends on your other features as well, but I always just do eyeliner on the top lid of my eyes (in a cat-eye fashion) and apply mascara. I use liquid eyeliner because its super-easy for me to apply.

if the bags are caused by lack of sleep make sure you get enough sleep. if the bags include puffiness a simple solution is cucumbers. slice them into thin circles and place them over your eyes. you could also try a bit of cover up underneath your eyes.
Reply:This is the perfect question for me. I look like Uncle Fester under the eyes. Haha. I use maybelline coverstick in deep beige and their Dream matte mousse. People tell me how clear my skin looks, well it isn't, it is the makeup. If they only knew. I put coverstick on first, then matte mousse, then coverstick again. Looks great, both come in several shades. Im african american american. Not dark ,but not light skinned.
Reply:I don't know if this works, but in a magizene it said put a cold spoon on the bags under your eyes. They say it supposedly works...





makeup wize? hmmm, do a nude lipstick that's made for your skintone and a dark brown eyeshadow. Mascara should be as long and thick as possible. this creates an instant beauty look.
