puberty but im not sure because it hurts can anyone tll me what it is an if it is bad?
please
I am 13 and have a bump under my skin by my nipple and i am a male my mom says i am probably going through?
It is totally normal and you will outgrow it in about a year or two. It is from hormones. Do NOT let a doctor start giving you steroids or HGH or anything to jack your hormones around. It is perfectly natural and you will get through it naturally.

You could ask your mom to take you to the doctor to have it checked out.
Reply:if it hurts get to a doc
Reply:That's normal.. you are hitting puberty! congratulations!
Reply:go to the doctor
Reply:it could be a cyst if it hurts.. best to have the doctor check it.. they aren't unsual in that particular part of your body and you can live without having them removed. Put a warm compress and see if it relieves the pressure until your Mom can get an appointment.
Reply:Yes your mother is right! It's just puberty. You will experience a lot of different things ... drink at least 64 ounces of water everyday it will help avoid some puberty stuff.
Reply:since your mother already gave her diagnosis, i suggest you speak with the school nurse/doctor in your school.
Reply:Brian, Perry L is absolutely correct. This is a common condition that surfaces in early puberty. It may last for a few months to a year or longer. Mild tenderness is normal. Don't try to squeeze it.
