It probably is an ingrown hair men are hairy there but you have to wait for it to come to a head or sometimes some triple antibiotic helps if it is red or sore.

Don't know, go to the doctor.
Reply:It does sound like an ingrown hair, and yes, hair grows there too.
Reply:Most likely a sebaceous disc, or blockage of an oil gland. he should see a doctor if concerned.
Reply:go the doctor before u catch it
Reply:.

.. it's herpes.

.. breakouts can occur anywhere in the genital region, including the anus.

.. tuff luck.

.
Reply:go to the doc.
Reply:Sounds like an ingrown hair or a pimple or little cyst in a pore..

Does not sound like something to worry about..
Reply:go to the doctor...it could only be a swollen/blocked gland...that happened to someone i knew before
Reply:it could be an ingrown hair or worst case scenario it could be herpes or a genital wart so be sure to use condom until you are certain.
Reply:It really could be an ingrown hair, but if it doesn't go away soon, he should go to the doctor.
Reply:HEMMORRHOID

I have gone through all these things that are mentioned - this was just last year I had the same problem. It is a hemmorhoid
Reply:My husband had a CYST in the same region. it could resemble an ingrown hair. He had it drained. It could also be an Hemorrhoid. Ask him if it's itchy, if it burns or if it hurts when he applies pressure on it. My husband's hurt a lot. If it doesn't go away in a couple of days or it gets bigger. Go to a Doctor.
