i keep putting lotion on it and it hasnt been working at all is there anything else i can do

Use Vitime E oil. you can get the capsuls at Wal-Mart. poke a hole in it and rub. I promise it will help you. Keep doing that until your better. should work almost right away.

The lotion will do no good. There is proprionic acid in your nose and the lotion has benzoic acid. They will not react together. Two acid will not make it any better. Instead, add 3 parts water to 1 part baking soda and put a little on your nose. The two will react and it should not be dry anymore.
