How do you feel about GPS implant under you child's skin?

I didn't know this was already being marketed. A link would be interesting as I'd love to read about it. It sounds fascinating.

I agree with you. Certain types of criminals and pedophiles should be the test subjects first so we can see how well these chips work and will help us.

I do not like the idea only for this reason: people will lose their privacy. (What little privacy some may have.) Anxiety will increase along with guilty feelings, lots of changes will occur in the world...and not necessarily the good ones it would seem on the surface would happen, such as better behavior. I think behavior will become worse because of the frustration caused by perception of others knowing where one is at all times. :) Like the people who go crazy thinking someone is watching them. Only it'll be more people becoming that way.

Personally, I wouldn't mind being fitted with a chip if I didn't think an employer or some such person partly in charge of the direction of my life would use it against me somehow. Like if I went to a friend's house and that friend was not a politically acceptable one, for instance. Oh well. Interesting idea....

If someone can hold my son down long enough to implant one more power to 'em. I don't think they could.

if its a volunteer thing i like it, i have looked into it, i like the idea because we lose to many children, we need to save the children
Reply:no thanks!

I trust my God - - more times than not.

He delivers me and my family from danger! Praises!
Reply:Read George Orwell's 1984...no chips!!!!
Reply:My first impulse was to say "that's ridiculous!" but if the child was a kidnap victim it might save their life.

I guess it's not such a bad idea. But how long does it stay in? If I was a teenager I'd find it disturbing that my parents would have some kind of tracer in me that could show them exactly where I was at all times; it'd feel like a real invasion of privacy, and an incredibly invasive one because they've put something in my body without my consent.
Reply:I would never allow anyone in my family to be chipped.
