Do the Bare Mineral brushes irritate the skin around your eyes? Skin is bumpy @ temples & under the eyes.?

I think that the all over/general purpose brush is cheap- the bristles keep falling out and it feels rough on my face- has anyone else felt this way as well?

Are any of their other brushes soft enough that I could use that instead?

I didn't really like their brushes either. The bristles fell out and I didn't like the texture. I do like the foundation though. I use the sephora bronzer brush to buff and it works really well. The bare minerals concealer brush is ok though.

yes,you pay for what you get
Reply:I havent had this problem but what brush are you using. i use the buki brush. i like it. it has full coverage. maybe you should call them and tell them whats happening then just send it back. thats what i would do.

get M.A.C. brushes

and when you clean your brushes make sure to not stand them up while they're drying

the water gets into the brushes' core and deteriorates the glue
Reply:I'm in love with the BE brushes. They are great. Mine last about a year, then they start getting rough. I despise the cheap ones, they do feel scratchy.
Reply:Are you sure you're referring to the flawless face brush?

I think you may mean the buki brush.

You should try either MAC's brushes or Southern Magnolia Mineral's huge a** kabuki brush. It looks hella soft, though I haven't tried it. Clinique's got some pretty awesome brushes too by the way.

But idk, I've never had any problems with Bare Mineral's brushes. They're really soft and effective imo. I don't think I've had a single bristle fall out. Maybe you're using them incorrectly? Anyhow, hope you get it worked out!
Reply:I use bare minerals brushes and mine hold up really well. If yours are older or if you've forgotten to clean them that may be why yours are starting to fall apart but mine have lasted a really long time.
Reply:I used that product for about a year. It could be the method in which you are buffing your face with the minerals. My brushes did get a bit prickly after a while.
